Any print job involves a number of different elements, of which putting ink on paper is just one. We can help you through all the processes to distribution of the finished product, so it's never too early to talk to us.
Project Management
We do this by working with you in partnership to complete a successful project from beginning to end, on time and on budget.
Estimating
We’ll provide a comprehensive quotation detailing the exact costs for the specification you have given us, or that we’ve helped you develop. Our quotations always identify any additional charges as part of our policy to avoid hidden costs.
Getting your project or copy to us
We can accept artwork or copy in virtually any form – from all the most popular graphics programs for Mac or PC on disk, by FTP, or by email.
Checking your proof
Customers have a choice of proofing methods
including PDF format proofs; digital black and white prints for single
colour work; digital colour prints for colour work – both of which can be
used for checking and making changes before final plates are produced. We
also offer an online proofing service.
Paper and board
We can advise on the different grades and weights of material to achieve the correct presentation of the finished publication and to stay within budget. As part of our environmental policy, we have developed a high level of expertise in the use of recycled papers. We are happy to recommend the best material for your jobs. Where no material is specified we always use the best available option from a range of environmentally friendly chlorine-free stocks.
Printing
Our high quality Heidelberg presses range from one to six colour machines suitable for short or long runs of magazines, reports, leaflets and books.
Finishing
Our finishing facilities are extensive:Twin wire stitching; Wiro; Burst & Perfect Binding;Folding and Laminating. You can be assured of full quality control as all the work is carried out ‘in-house’
Mailing and distribution
Whether using polybags or envelopes – we can either
overprint carrier sheets on our digital presses or affix labels. We have the
expertise to advise on the most cost effective and appropriate delivery
system for your needs.
