An
eBook or electronic book is a text- and image-based publication in digital
form which is readable on computers or other digital devices. They are
usually read using IPads, IPhones, Sony eReaders, Adobe Digital Editions, and on your PC.
We use the ePub format, which is the publishing industry
standard. The resulting eBook is not a PDF. It is written using the
language of the web. It can therefore be enlarged on screen without loss of
detail, which improves legibility for many readers.
We also produce Kindle editions for Amazon.

What is an ePub book?
The ePub file extension denotes an Open Publication Structure eBook file. Epub allows eBooks using this format to be read on a wide variety of eReaders, from dedicated hardware to desktop software to online based readers.
Can't I just use a PDF file?
Whilst it is true that many of the eBook readers on the market can open PDF files, this is far from ideal. A true eBook differs from a PDF in that the layout is not fixed, but can be adjusted to suit whichever device the eBook is being displayed on. A PDF with its fixed page layout means that on many eBook readers the user has to manipulate the pages by zooming in and out and scrolling left, right, up and down in order to make sense of the document. The readability of a PDF file will differ depending on the eReader, and on some devices it will be unreadable.
The Kindle eReader won't open ePub files?
This is correct, but we can supply your eBook in a number of formats including for the Kindle. Please contact us for further details.
Can I make my own ePub file?
The ePub format is an open standard so you can create one yourself, but this can be a difficult and time consuming task. The process is not entirely straightforward and there are a number of pitfalls for the unwary. One important point to note is that an ePub file must pass a number of validation checks. We can ensure that this validation process is completed correctly.
